Kate has spent almost a decade in events. She built her career working in the non-profit space, producing galas and fundraisers, before moving into the entertainment world working on film premieres and after parties. She knows what it takes to execute at every scale.

But after years of working behind the scenes for other people, she wanted to build something of her own. Something smaller, more intentional, and more personal. That is how Almost Ready came to be.

Almost Ready is a boutique event studio based in Los Angeles and Orange County. Kate focuses on intimate celebrations done beautifully. Birthdays, bachelorettes, showers, dinner parties, and intimate weddings. Every project is different, but the approach is always the same. Thoughtful, design-led, and personal from the very first conversation.

She works by referral only, which means every client comes through a trusted introduction. It is how she keeps the work meaningful and the relationships real.
